"I believe that not everyone can be a great artist, but great art can come from anywhere, and I’m passionate about providing creative opportunities for people who wouldn’t usually have access to the arts."

I am an experienced arts facilitator and mentor, managing and delivering progressive participatory and educational arts programmes inspired by my practice. I’m committed and passionate about providing creative opportunities to those who wouldn’t usually have access to the arts – working with groups and individuals of all ages, ability and backgrounds to try new things and develop creative skills. I aim to provide the tools for people to express themselves creatively, explore issues important to them, and realise their creative ambitions in a safe, relaxed and inspiring environment.

As a mentor I work with artists and students wanting to develop their practice and learn more about working in participatory settings. I also mentor vulnerable adults and high risk young people to provide help and advice with learning new skills, training and employment opportunities within the creative sector.

I provide training and consultation to arts organisations, museums, galleries and social services – exploring key issues around participatory arts practice, developing and sustaining successful arts projects, effective methods of engagement and recording impact and progression. I also develop accreditation modules for a range of art and design activities.

I also have several years experience curating exhibitions in gallery and public spaces, overseeing and delivering everything from promotional material and catering, to installation and legacy documentation.
